What is injection moulding
Similar to casting, but molten material is forced into a ‘closed mould’ under pressure. Often built in heaters and it is a industrial process which is automatic and continuous
What is extrusion
Melted and forced under pressure through a die
Produces long, continuous strips. Eg plastic covered wires and plastic edgings

Used metal mould(2 parts) to create very detailed things, eg car engine parts
