What is situation ethics?
Created by Joseph Fletcher in the ‘60s in response to WW2.
Argues we should ask ourself “What would Jesus do?”
No set rules, everyone’s situation is INDIVIDUAL.

25th May 2020, he was restrained for over 8 mins, repeating the phrase “I CANT BREATHE”
Started the Black Lives Matter movement!
Stephen Lawrence
22nd April 1993, killed by white gang in South East London. Police did not follow evidence quickly enough and gang were not found guilty.
