Violent, carried daggers+swords. Messiah-white horse, didn’t like Jews saying ‘love your enemies’

Name-“separated one’s”, thought they were better than everyone, believed in messiah+angels. Thought messiah would come if everyone obeyed the law for one day

All male, lived in desert caves, wrote Dead Sea scrolls, ritual baths, messiah-priestly. Would be battled in heavens between good+evil, mirrored on earth. Messiah=teacher of righteousness

Scribes, experts in law, men+boys only. Messiah would be sinless human and would teach the law, would lead people, only teach men+boys

Cruel punishments like crucifixion, made Jews pay high taxes, took away Jews rights to punish people

Believers baptism
Gives testimony-how they became Christian, goes into baptistry(water), says vows, fully immersed, brought up, hangs clothes.
