Skill achievement/adaptability & flexibility - Reaches with one or two hands; accuracy becomes more direct reach; can change direction of reach midstream. By 8 - 9 months, infant can reach in all directions. Reach is smooth and efficient. Infant easily combines reach and grasp. Infant carries object through space.
