Recycling is the process of treating objects so they can be used again.
What are the benefits of recycling?
Reduces the need for raw materials, as well as reuse materials that would need to be dumped. Recycling, therefore, conserves energy.

Recycling depots and large containers are not always central and accessible to everyone in the community, these also take up space.
What is a proposed solution to improve accessibility to recycling facilities?
Consult with community to find location for recycling facilities. Use local shopping centers and community centers.
What issue is associated with sorting items at recycling depots?
It takes time and costs money to sort items at the depot.
What solution is suggested to encourage sorting at recycling depots?
Give special subsidies and tax breaks for companies to encourage them to employ people to sort items.
What is a common attitude problem regarding recycling?
People are apathetic and don’t bother to recycle.
What solutions can be implemented to address apathy towards recycling?
Introduce incentives or laws which state that certain goods have to be recycled.
What is a requirement for items to be recycled?
Items for recycling need to be clean and dry, ie bottles and cans should be emptied and rinsed. This can be inconvenient when people just want to throw things away.
What educational solution is proposed to improve recycling practices?
Conduct education campaigns.
