A

Prince Henry, the navigator set up a school of navigation Sagres, Portugal where he focused on finding the way around Africa to Asia the Portuguese spent the middle part of the 15th century exploring the West Coast of Africa setting up faces there to trade with the native there for gold and for spice in 1487 Vasco de Gama rounded the southern tip of Africa now called the Cape of Good Hope in 1497. Bartholomew set up set sale from Europe around Africa to unreached Asia where he arrived in Calico India
