The St Lawrence Lowlands Region

A

This is the smallest of the regions in Canada. It covers part of Ontario and Quebec.
It was formed when ice sheets pushed soils from the shield onto the current day region. After the retreat of the ice sheets, massive lakes formed. The lakes drained their current size leaving fertile land all around.
The region produces many types of fruits and wines, while the proximity to water makes lots of money through transportation.
Industries include filming, business, food, agriculture, trade.
Most developed region in Canada because it has had most time. Highest pop. Many jobs (few available).
