What is the enhancer region?
A
This is a cis acting region far upstream of transcription site that binds activator transcription factors to increase gene expression.

What are activators?
A
These are molecules that bind the enhancer region and RNA Polymerase at the same time to forma DNA loop. This binding recruits other transcription factors to form a transcription initiation complex with RNA Pol III.

A
These are cis acting regions that repressor transcription factors bind to.
