do Catholics allow divorce?
no. however they allow annulment
do Catholics accept homosexuals?
no. they believe sex and marriage should only take place between a man and a women as sex was a gift from god for procreation. they believe sodomy (anal sex) is a sin thus making homosexuality an even worse sin
what is natural law
a catholic theory that argues that what is right is what’s natural. this is discovered through following gods teaching and applying our reason. argued by Thomas Aquinas
what is contraception
the deliberate prevention of pregnancy by natural or artificial methods
what do Catholics think of contraception
they DONT agree with artificial methods as it goes against natural law. but they agree with natural methods like rhythm method
what do most non catholic Christians think of contraception
they believe contraception is okay. as Jesus thought agape love and so if to use it is the most loving thing then its okay.
why do some Christians ignore the passage in the bible where it says homosexuality’s “a disgusting thing” and should be punished by death
other passages are ignored like not eating pork. and they listen to jesus’ teachings of agape love and acceptance instead
why don’t catholics accept gay people
natural law- sex is for procreation and shouldn’t be had without the possibility of procreation
