Da Chai Hu Tang (Major Bupleurum Decoction)

A

Harmonizes and releases the lesser yang, and drains internal clumping due to heat

Concurrent Shaoyang with Yangming Syndromes: intermittent chills and fever, continuous vomiting, fullness and pain in the epigastrium, burning diarrhea or no bowell movements, bitter taste in the mouth, nausea and vomiting, slight irritability

T: yellow coat

P: wiry, full

Incompletely resolved exterior with interior excess heat: fever, sweating, thirst, dysenteric diarrhea with especially foul-smelling stools, burning sensation around the anus
