Christians believe that peace is a reflection of living in harmony with gods will. The bible teaches “blessed are the peacemakers.” Believers learn that christians should actively seek to calm comflict and promote reconciliation in their communities
Muslims believe that peace is central to faith, and the word islam itself means ‘peace.’ This encourages muslims to prioritise peace in all relationships and avoid causing harm through words or actions

Christians believe that justice is a key part of gods nature and should be reflected in human society. Christians are inspired to stand up for the oppressed and create a fairer society following Gods example
Muslims believe that establishing justice is a divine command in all aspects of life. In the Qur’an it says “indeed allah loves those who act justly.” This pushes muslims to treat others with fairness, even if it goes against their own interests or family

Muslims believe that terrorism is forbidden as it unjustly takes life of innocent people. Muslims see it as a betrayal of islamic values as it targets innocents unjustly

Muslims believe that fighting is allowed in self defence to protect the faith and community. Muslims believe defending ones community is permitted, but actions must remain within ethical limits

Christians belive thta retaliation should be avoided and relaced wirh forgivenesss. In the bible it says “ turn the other cheek.” Christians believe responding with kindness rather than revenge breaks the cycle of violence
Muslims believe that limited retaliation is permitted, but forgiveness is better in the eyes of God. Muslims are taught that while retaliation is allowed, it must not exceed what was done to them.

Christians believe that possessing wmds threatens global peace and life. The bible teaches “those who live by the sword die by the sword.” Christians fear these weapons give humans too much destructive power undermining Gods nature, as he is the giver of life and should be the only one to take it.
Muslims believe that owningwmds goes against the duty to avoid harm and protect life. Muslims argue that possessing such weapons threatens innocent lives and violate the principles of justice

Muslims believe that using such weapons violates divine laws on proportionality and the protection of innocents. In the Qur’an it says “Do not kill the souls which Allah has forbidden.” Muslims believe using them goes against islamic rules of war, which protect civilians and the environment

Christians believe that pacifism follows teachings of non violence and love. The bible teaches “turn the other cheek.” Some christians choose total non violence, believing its the only true reflection of Jesus’ life.
Muslims believe that peace is preferred and war is only a last resort under strict rules such as lesser jihad, which is fighting physically to defend the faith. Muslims value peace highly and aim to resolve conflict peacefully whenever possible

Christians believe that peacemaking is a holy task that helps build a just and loving world. They believe peacemakers reflect Gods love and bring healing to a broken world.
Muslims believe that those whi work for peace follow divine guidance and will be rewarded. In the quran it says “if they incline to peace then incline to it also.” Muslims view peacemaking as a noble act that earns reward and strengthens the ummah (community)

Christians believe that helping victims of war is a duty of compassion and love. The Bible teaches “rescue those being led away to death.” Christians believe helping victims is a way to show love in action and imitate Jesus‘s compassion.
Muslims believe that aiding victims of war is considered an act of charity and obedience to God. Muslim see supporting victims as a part of their duty to give Zakah and stand for justice.
