metaphor - guilt lingers after murder - Lady Macbeth
Form + structure
Final stanza is two lines - could show killing himself or brain deterioration
irregular lengths, no rhyme - erratic chain of thought
Context
lives are lost- literally and through PTSD
soldiers who followed orders forced to turn to ‘Drink and drugs’
