Q

Cautions and Contraindications

A

The dose of Ren Shen should be carefully adjusted according to each patient’s condition. Bai Du San was originally designed for children. For adults who do not have significant qi deficiency, the dose of Ren Shen should be decreased. Bai Du San is a warm, acrid formula that is contraindicated in cases of exterior wind-heat invasion, interior heat, or yin deficiency with exterior invasion.
