When a child is 10-15 years old and it ends when they are about 18

Their whole life,
How long do women produce egg cells?
Until they are about 45-55. When they stop it’s called the menopause.
What is menstruation?
The loss of the uterus lining and some blood through the vagina
How of does menstruation occur?
About every 28 days
What happens in the middle of the menstruation cycle?
An egg is released. This is called ovulation.
What happens if the egg cell is not fertilised?
The cycle starts again
Where does the sperm enter during sexual intercourse? What is the act of doing it called?
The vagina. Ejaculation
What is forced out of the penis during sexual intercourse?
Semen.(Sperm cells mixed with special liquids from the glands)
Where does the semen move to during sexual intercourse?
The top of the uterus.
Where do the sperm cells swim during sexual intercourse?
Down the oviducts
What could happen if a sperm cell meets the egg cell?
Fertilisation
What is an embryo formed of?
A ball of egg cells
