A
speed of ripples on a water surface

how do you set this practical up
A
get a lamp and set it above a tank full of water
use a motor to create ripples in the water
equal distance from lamp to tank set up a screen
place a ruler next to the screen to see lenghts

how do you find out wavelength
A
count the amount of waves and divide this by the length of the screen
finally divide by 2 because the wave has been magnified

A
take a video over a second and count the waves through a certain point and divide this by the time.
