  1. Place a small amount of food in a boiling tube
  2. Add distilled water
  3. Add ten drops of benedict’s solution
  4. Heat in a water bath for 10 minutes
  5. If it turns ORANGE or GREEN, GLUCOSE IS PRESENT
    If it REMAINS BLUE, no glucose is present
