  1. Set up and use crocodile clips to complete the circuit using the wire.
  2. Measure the length of the wire.
  3. Record the reading on the ammeter and voltmeter.
  4. Calculate the resistance.
  5. Repeat steps with different lengths.

  1. Set up the circuit.
  2. Turn the power supply up until the potential difference is 12v.
  3. Take the voltmeter and ammeter readings.
  4. Calculate the resistance of the lamp at its running temperature.
  5. Repeat for different values of potential difference.
  6. Plot a graph.

Density - Steps.

  1. Measure the mass of both objects.
  2. Measure the volume of the regular object.
  3. Measure the volume of the irregular object (by displacement).
  4. Calculate Density.

Thermal Insulation - Steps.

A
  1. Put the small beaker inside of the large beaker.
  2. Boil water and put 80ml of it in the small beaker.
  3. Use a piece of cardboard, with a hole, as a lid for the large beaker
  4. Insert the thermometer in the hole.
  5. Record the temperature and start the stopwatch.
  6. Record the temperature of the water every 3 minutes.
  7. Repeat using different materials to fill the space between the large and small beaker.
  8. Plot a graph.
