What is the method for plant responses?

Answer 1

• Place cotton wool in 3 petri dishes with equal volumes of water
• Add 10 mustard seeds to each dish
• Leave in a warm place to allow seeds to germinate, water seeds everyday with same volume of water
• Ensure all dishes have the same amount of seedlings, remove excess
• Measure the height of seedlings then place all petri dishes in different conditions
• One dish in full sunlight •
• One dish in partial light
• Place one dish in darkness
• Measure height of each daily for 6 days and record and calculate mean, compare results
