Not much of something

e.g. healthy, warm, safe

Providing something
i.e. lots of rain brings a reliable supply of water

Having too much of something
e.g. the North West of England has a water surplus

When an area has a water deficit and does not have enough water

Water transfer

Moving water from areas that have too much, to areas that don’t have enough

Resource

Something that has value of purpose e.g. energy, food, water

Having not enough of something e.g. the South East of England has a water deficit
