A
  1. Blood carries oxygen to every cell in the body via the blood vessels ( arteries and capillaries).
  2. The cell takes up the oxygen and uses it for cellular respiration to produce energy.
    3, The waste product carbon dioxide is removed and carried back to the lungs by the blood to be released.
