Refused to sign a treaty - 1832 signed away some land, but white settlers moved onto land that had not been sold - 1835 Creek attacked white settlers and their livestock - 1836-1837 the army forcibly removed over 15,000 Creek to Indian Territory.

Refused to accept the Act - Second Seminole War - A small group of Seminole moved to the Indian Territory, the others declared war on the US Government 1835-1842 - The US lost and ambushed the Seminole during peace talks and killed Osceola-the Seminole chief - After the loss of their chief, the remaining Seminole were forced to move West.
