Describe the goal of the Reconstructionist during the Reconstruction Era. Reference two Constitutional Amendments and explain how they fulfilled those goals.
The goals of the reconstruction era was to make things more fair for all citizens and give all citizens the same rights. Two amendments that helped fulfill these goals were the 13th amendment and the 14th amendment. The 13th amendment gave all former slaves freedom and so they were counted as an actual citizen. The 14th amendment gave all people born in the us citizenship.
