Better cool air, cold bath, uncovering.

Desires exercise which ameliorates.
Aggravation from loss of sexual partner (Conium).
3 p.m. aggravation
Swelling around eyes, genitals.
Hormonal remedy. Hot flashes, menopause, PMS.
Meningitis, high fever, boring head into pillow, ‘cri encephalique’. Coma. Worse heat. Stupor, with sudden sharp shrill cries.
Suffocation, feels every breath will be his last.

Angioneurotic edema in allergic crises

Argentum Nitricum

Avarice, stingy, selfish. Dependent, desire company, fear alone. Constantly calls the doctor. Despair of recovery. Depression, even to suicide. Anorexia. Burning pains better heat. Very chilly,
Arsenicum album
Depression, desires death, suicidal (jumping) , pain drives her to suicide, high standards, reproach self, guilt. Ailments from grief, disappointed love, business failures, mortification. Anger, vindictive, ambitious. Praying, spiritual seekers, anxiety about salvation. Serious. Music ameliorates. Worse night but better evenings. Insomnia, moaning in sleep. Aurum metallicum
Timidity, low confidence, feel inferior, irresolution
Sensitive to ridicule, being teased or laughed at
Childish, immature on some level. May be intellectually bright but socially backward.
Passive, shy.
Anxiety, feeling incompetent.
Fears: people, being laughed at, new situations.
Nervous nail biting
Conscientious about trifles, abnormal concern over his appearance, very tidy, neat handwriting.

Complaints tend to come on gradually. Worse motion. Dryness (dry mouth, lips, dry cough, dry rectum, constipation). Stitching pains especially in serous membranes and joints. Better pressure, > lying on painful side. Better fresh air. Irritable, materialistic. Talks of business, wants to go home in delirium. Thirst for large quantities at infrequent intervals. Dry, hard wracking coughs. Left sided remedy. Important for sprains and fractures, pleurisy, appendicitis, and many more problems. Worse warmth and warm drinks. Better lying in a quiet room, undisturbed.
Bryonia
Overwhelmed, overworked. Task oriented. Anxious about health, fear breaking down, fear high places, disease, doctors, hospitals, insects, narrow places, accidents. Pathologies: cancer, mononucleosis, insomnia, constipation, allergies, headaches.
Carcinosin
Idealistic, Sympathetic, Intolerant of injustices, rebellious. AF grief, punishment. Can be depressed and despairing over injustices. Check and re-check compulsively. Fear something bad will happen, fear dogs, ghosts.. Hurried. Better in cloudy and wet weather. Worse cold winds, worse drafts Eruptions or warts on nose, eyelids. Constant desire to clear throat. Hoarseness. Craves salt, smoked meat. Averse sweets. Urinary incontinence from cough, sneeze. Aversion to coition in women. Cough deep, mucus sticky. Cough better cold drinks. Miasms: Psora, Sycosis, Syphilis, but one of the 3 miasms will be dominant in every Causticum patient.
Causticum
Crushed finger tips, pain after injuries to coccyx. Excessive painfulness. Can follow Arnica well, after injuries or a fall. Dread of motion. Complaints from fright. Compound fractures.
Injuries to nerves. Spinal cord injuries, whiplash, concussion, head injuries. Sharp, shooting pains (upward), intense pains. Dullness, forgetfulness, depression after head injuries. Fright, shock after injuries. Head feels longer, pointed. Sensation of being lifted high up in the air.
Worse cold damp, fog, touch. Better bending head back. Pain after dental procedures. Injuries to coccyx.
Miasm: psora
Hypericum
Sensitive, easily excited. Refined, idealistic. Disappointed. Contradictions. Rapidly changing moods; hysteria. AF grief, disappointed love, fright. Silent grief. Stormy relationships, offended easily, remain cramped inside. Sentimental. Involuntary weeping. Sighing, sobbing, averse consolation. Quarrelsome, impatient. Desires to be alone; brooding. AF being reprimanded. Can’t decide, irresolution. Headache as if a nail in side of head, better lying on it. Perspires face. Averse or craves fruit. Travel ameliorates. Worse sweets. Spasms. Emotional tension somatized, creating tight traps, jaw muscles, rectum, etc. Dysmenorrhea. Fear of birds, robbers, narrow places. Mental symptoms alternate with physical.

Ailments from grief, disappointed love, jealousy, anger, fright, mortification. Generals/physicals: Right sided, rt. to left. Worse morning and especially 4-8 p.m. Better evening, midnight. Better open air. GI and blood sugar problems. Gray hair. Craves sweets. Bloating, distention, rumbling. Big appetite, or easily satiated. Bulimia. Dieting alternates with bingeing. Impotence. Sleeps right side. Wakes unrefreshed. Worse beans, cabbage.

Lycopodium
Excesses and extremes. Desire to experience everything. Extremists. Erratic performance. Sycosis. Profuse discharges. Problems since birth. Strong sexuality. Cruelty but may be sensitive. Crave sour fruit, citrus, fat, alcohol, drugs. Asthma, arthritis. Anticipatory anxiety, ailments from anticipation. Bites nails. Clairvoyance. Concentration difficult. Confusion of mind. Generals/physicals: Sensitive to heat and cold, narrow tolerance. Lack of reactive power along with an inefficiency of function. Trembling, neurological problems, paralysis. Stammering. Worse from perspiring, from heat of bed. Night sweats. Chronic infections, otitis. Indented tongue. Metallic taste, offensive breath. Salivation. Gingivitis. Pharyngitis with salivation, cervical adenopathy. Craves bread and butter. Averse sweets. Thirsty for cold water. Tremor of hands. Insomnia. Generally worse nights. Very sensitive to temperature changes. Stinking discharges.
Miasm: Syphilis
Pathologies: chronic infections, otitis, pharyngitis, teeth and bone decay, behavioral disorders, cancer.
Mercurius
Vulnerability to emotional injury. Avoids hurting others, sympathetic. Serious, averse consolation, broods, dwells on past. Sensitive, introverted, closed, romantic, perfectionistic. AF grief. Silent grief, disappointed love. Dignity. Can’t weep. Averse company. Fastidious. Fears robbers. PMS sad, irritable. Worse sun, 10-3 p.m. Headaches. Hay fever. Herpetic eruptions face, lips. Chilly, spasms, drugging, oversensitive to light, noise, etc. Ambitious and competitive. Fastidious, efficient. GI complaints, painful spasms. Irritable, excitable, and impatient. Easily offended, irritable, angry, intolerant of contradiction. Worse anger. Worse cold, drafts, better warmth in any form. Wants to but can’t (vomit, defecate, etc.). Craves fat, alcohol and stimulants which aggravate. Muscle spasms abound. Sneezing in morning. Worse mornings. Cystitis with frequent urging for small amounts, better heat or warm bathing. Insomnia,

Stiffness. Worse damp weather, worse before a storm, worse cold, worse being still, worse first motion, better continued motion, better heat. Injuries, sprains, acute or chronic rheumatic complaints. Worse night and morning. Flu remedy with aching of joints and muscles. Skin eruptions, vesicles, with tremendous itching. Restlessness, must move. Impatient. Very cold, but desires cold things, cold milk. Dreams of work and activity, may wake exhausted. Ailments from over-exertion, excess physical activity, from overuse of voice, etc. Anxious, must move. Left sided remedy. Cracking of joints. Herpetic eruptions, herpes zoster. Major flu remedy. Lots of skin symptoms, itching lesions better in extremely hot water.

Stasis. Loss of ability to feel love for children, husband. Irritable, sarcastic, critical. Anger from consolation. Better vigorous exercise. Averse to sex. Nausea. Weeping involuntarily, causeless weeping.. PMS with sadness, weeping, irritability. Averse company, better alone. Chilly, worse cold. Better in evening. Worse 3 or 3-5 p.m. Worse before or during menses. Left sided remedy. N and V of pregnancy. Craves sweets, vinegar or sour. Sensation of lump in rectum. Vaginitis with acrid discharge. Menses scanty. Refined, sensitive, yielding yet obstinate. Conscientious about trifles. Low confidence. Avoids argument. Stage fright or performance anxiety. Fear pins.
Generals/physicals: Chilly, worse cold weather. Worse drafts or uncovering. Worse suppressed foot sweat. Fatigue and weakness. Scoliosis and bony or nail problems. Failure to thrive in infants.
