Descartes believes his mind’s existence is indubitable, unlike his body, which he doubts due to flawed senses. This distinction suggests mind and body are different substances.

john Searle think that ai mahcines cannot pass turing test
John Searle argues A.I. lacks true understanding despite passing the Turing Test. Machines follow syntax but lack semantics. The Chinese room experiment illustrates this: someone arranging Chinese symbols by rules seems to understand Chinese but doesn’t. Similarly, computers mimic understanding without genuine comprehension.
