What is the importance to Christians of the Old Testament?
We hear about miracles before Jesus time aswell as prophecies of the Messiah.
What is the importance to christians of the New Testament?
In the New Testament we hear about the fulfilment of the prophecy of the Messiah as well as hearing about Jesus’ Miracles and teachings.
What was Jesus’ Ministry?
The teachings and work of Jesus
What is meant by the Incarnation?
The Christian Belief that God came to Earth in Human Form ( In the Flesh) as Jesus.
Titles for Jesus to emphasise his divine and human side?
Son of Man and Son of God.
What is meant by the holy trinity?
The Christian belief that there are 3 persons in one God; God Jesus and the Holy Spirit.
What beliefs are there about the Messiah?
The man sent by God to save humanity from its sins and separation from God.
What is meant by repentance and what was John the Baptists importance in it?
Repentance is meaning the change of mind from Sin to the Righteousness of the Son of Man. John the Baptist was a messenger of this and constantly told those whom he baptised repentance is not just turning to God one time. It is changing your state of mind to God Permanently.
What happened at Jesus Baptism?
Jesus came to John the Baptist asking to be baptised but at first John refused because he believed their roles were reversed but despite this he gave in as he dunked Jesus head under the water Jesus rose and a voice boomed put saying ‘This is my Son, whom I love ; I am proud of him’. After this the heavens opened and a Dove appeared. After this miracle many came to be baptised.
What is a disciple?
A disciple is a follower of somebody; a learner.
What is a miracle?
Something that goes against the laws of Science or Nature.
What is a Nature Miracle?
A miracle showing Gods Power over Nature.
What is a healing Miracle .
A miracle showing Gods Power over sickness.
What was the importance of the healing of the paralysed man?
In Jesus’ time only God could forgive sins but when Jesus came saying he could forgive sins because he was the son of man, he was very much doubted until he healed the paralysed man. While doing this he also completed the prophecy of Ezekiel.
What was the importance of the raising of lazarus
The story of Lazarus shows that God has power over life and death showing his power over life and death.
What is the importance of Jesus conflict on the sabbath day?
When Jesus was accused of breaking the Sabbath this shows us healing was a blessing from God not a labour of man.
What is the importance of the Wedding in Cana ?
This miracle was his first and it revealed his divine identity and showed us to entrust our problems with him.
What does the parable of the Goat and the Sheep show?
The parable shows us the difference between righteous and unrighteous people like feeding the hungry and welcoming strangers.

The importance of the sacrament of reconciliation and coming back to God despite committing sins.
What is the kingdom of God?
The kingdom of God is his authority or rule.
What is the Kingdom Values?
The kingdom values are the behaviour and attitudes God wants people in his kingdom to have.
Parable of the mustard tree – what is represented?
The parable of the mustard seed represents something seemingly insignificant can carry great significance.
Parable of the Sower – what is represented?
The parable of the Sower shows how God spreads his message to 4 different types of people it is just what you do with the message.
What were the 4 sights Buddha saw?
The sights Buddha saw were an Old man, a Sick man, a Holy man and a Dead man.
