What is meant by repentance and what was John the Baptists importance in it?

A

Repentance is meaning the change of mind from Sin to the Righteousness of the Son of Man. John the Baptist was a messenger of this and constantly told those whom he baptised repentance is not just turning to God one time. It is changing your state of mind to God Permanently.

What happened at Jesus Baptism?

A

Jesus came to John the Baptist asking to be baptised but at first John refused because he believed their roles were reversed but despite this he gave in as he dunked Jesus head under the water Jesus rose and a voice boomed put saying ‘This is my Son, whom I love ; I am proud of him’. After this the heavens opened and a Dove appeared. After this miracle many came to be baptised.

What was the importance of the healing of the paralysed man?

A

In Jesus’ time only God could forgive sins but when Jesus came saying he could forgive sins because he was the son of man, he was very much doubted until he healed the paralysed man. While doing this he also completed the prophecy of Ezekiel.

Key events of the Last Supper
After the meal, Jesus is betrayed, arrested, tried, and then crucified. Key events in the meal are the preparation of the disciples for the departure of Jesus, the predictions about the impending betrayal of Jesus, and the foretelling of the upcoming denial of Jesus by Apostle Peter.

Jesus’ arrival in Jerusalem
He makes a grand entrance into the city on a donkey to fulfil the prophesy of Zechariah, “Tell the city of Zion, Look, your king is coming to you! He is humble and rides on a donkey and on a colt, the foal of a donkey.” The crowds throw palm branches and put blankets on the road before Jesus.
