Q

what is the difference abiotic and biotic

A

Q

effects of removing an component from an ecosystem

A
  • dispruts the flow of energy
  • limits food for predators
  • imbalance in the ecosystem
  • reduce biosphere
  • disstrubing habitat

Q

effects of fire

A

fire can be very dangerous it can kill people, wipe out entire areas of trees and destroy houses. indigenous people relied heavily on fire for food

15
Q

native vegetation

A

native vegetation is important because

  • it provides habitats for native plants and animals
  • reduces the impacts of greenhouse gases
  • provides shade and shelter
  • protects water Quilty

Q

water cycle

A
  • evaporation
  • condensation
  • perception
  • infiltration
  • run off
  • transpiration
17
Q

indigenous australians and the land

A

they lived a nomatic life style, meaning they moved from place to place with seasons, in doing this they do not take all the resources from one area.
FIRE STICK FARMING: is when they would burn an area to control where the animals would go. this would also control fires because the area was already burnt so big fires did not happen.
HUNTER GATHERING: they would hunt and gather rather then farming this is a lot more sustainable because they did nit have ti clear the land

18
Q

food chain

A
  • sun
  • grass (producer)
  • bunny (primary consumer)
  • owl (secondary consumer)
  • fungi (decomposer)
