  • Asthma - 90% of patients
  • Blood eosinophilia
  • Paranasal sinusitis / Nasal polyps
  • Mononeuritis multiplex
  • pANCA positive in 60% of patients
  • Pulmonary haemorhages

Features of Granulomatosis with polyangitis?

A
  • Upper respiratory tract infection - epistaxis, sinusitis, nasal crusting.
  • lower respiratory tract - dyspnea / hemoptysis - caviating leisions
  • rapidly progressive glomerulonephritis - pauci - immune
  • saddle shaped nose deformity
  • vasculitis rash, eye involvement such as proptosis, cranial nerve leisions
  • cANCA positive in > 90% of patients, pANCA in 25%
  • renal biopsy : epithelial crescents in Bowman’s capsules
