A

When on the ground, there is no power (elec. resistance heat) going to the probes. They should be cold on the walk around.

2/10 ths of a nautical mile prior to FAF, set 700 fpm down @ 130 kts. - the VS and A/P will take 2/10s of a mile to “begin” its nose over and descent.
