What does Ricketts do?
Rickets is the softening and weakening of bones in children.

When standing up straight your ankles touch but your knees dont.
What causes Ricketts?
The lack of vitamin D and calcium
What happens to your bones when you have Ricketts?
They become deformed and weak. prone to fracture
What are knock knees?
When there’s a gap between your ankles when you stand with your knees together
What happens to your height and weight?
Your height is shortened and delayed. Your weight is low.
What happens to your muscles during Ricketts?
uncontrolable and random muscle cramps, spasms, twitching, tingling in the hands and feet, and fits.
What happen to teeth during Ricketts?
Weak tooth enamel, Teeth coming in late, more cavities
What ages do bowed knees and knocked knees to occur in?
Bowed Knees - toddlers
Knocked Knees - older kids
