Alison Levitt commissioned to conduct an independent review into historic treasury management and actions at RICS.

  1. Consider the way in which the internal report was commissioned, dealt with and to determine whether there were shortcomings.
  2. Consider whether shortcomings represented a failure of governance.
  3. Make recommendations for the future.
  4. Sound governance principles were not followed by the RICS.
  5. Non exec board members concerns were legitimate and they were wrongfully dismissed from their roles.
  6. A lack of clarity around the roles and responsibilities of the RICS board, leadership and management existed.
