Put about 5mm depth of water in ripple tank

Measure and record depth of water using metre ruler

Turn on motor and measure time for 10 waves to pass

Measure the lengths of 6-8 waves and divide to get wavelength

Calculate wave speed using wave speed=frequency x wave length
