1
Q

Q

What is stage 2 of rock cycle?

A

Over time weathering and erosion breaks down rocks into small fragments called sediments which are transported by sea, rivers, ice and wind

Q

What is stage 3 of rock cycle?

A

Sediments are deposited in seas or lakes and covered by other sediments. Compression turns the sediments into sedimentary rocks. These rocks can also be weathered
