Roderigo Flashcards
biggest incel on planet earth if he comes up in a question ill die (8 cards)
How is Roderigo presented in the play?
Roderigo is the lovesick dupe and companion of Iago, who lusts after Desdemona to the point of dauntless desperation. Roderigo’s lack of masculinity and social standing is taken advantage of by Iago who promises him the world (which in this case is Desdemona) which causes him to be led astray. He is the opposite of a typical Renaissance man.
