Q: What is the role of an Adult Nurse?
Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients and assist in daily life. They work with all ages who have a wide range of physical health conditions. Mainly based in hospitals, clinics and GP practices. Many adult nurses work in people’s home.

They plan individual care, carry out healthcare procedures they also promote good health and education programs, monitor health and administer medication.
What is the role of a District Nurse?
To work with all ages, supporting them in their own homes or residential settings. They work closely with family members and their carers They assess the patients needs and also the care and support needs of the ‘informal’ carer, they most commonly work with older people with disabilities and those recently discharged from hospital.

Manage wound care and give injections, help with basic needs.
