For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes; first to the Jew, then to the Gentile. For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed - a righteousness that is by faith from the first to last, just as it is written; “The righteous will live by faith.”
Romans 1:16-17
You therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge another, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things.
Romans 2:1
Or do you show contempt for the riches of his kindness, forbearance and patience, not realizing that God’s kindness is intended to lead you to repentance?
Romans 2:4
For God does not show favoritism.
Romans 2:11
For it is not those who hear the law who are righteous in God’s sight, but it those who obey the law who will be declared righteous.
Romans 2:13
As it is written: “There is no one righteous, not even one; there is no one who understands; there is no one who seeks God.
Romans 3:10-11
Therefore no one will be declared righteous in God’s sight by the works of the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of our sin.

Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.
Romans 5:3-4
You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die.
Romans 5:6-7
But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 5:8
For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!

For just as through disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous.
Romans 5:19
The law was brought in so that the trespass might increase. But where sin increased, grace increased all the more.
Romans 5:20
What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? By no means! We are those who have died to sin; how can we live in it any longer?

The death he died, he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God.
