Unrhyming verse in iambic pentameter.

A literary technique in which an expected outcome does not happen or the opposite happens instead.

A name for the method a writer used to express a characters values, feelings, goals, etc.
Iambic Pentameter
a line of verse with five metrical feet, each consisting of one short (or unstressed) syllable followed by one long (or stressed) syllable
