A
- Researches doctored photos of two famous events (Rome prot. + TS)
- TS: added crowds -Rome: aggresive-looking pro. + police officers
- Pp. put into one of 4 cond.:
- 2 og photos
- 2 doc. photos
- 1 og then doc.
- 1 doc. then og
(comb. of two)
- Then, they were given multiple choice qs.:
- some to see if they had seen photo bfore
- critic. questions: to see if memory had been alt./BIASED by doc. photos
- att. questions: testing change in att.

- -Beijing: pps who viewed the altered images produced higher est. of the am. of ppl who participated
- -Rome event: critcal qs on vi.,(e.g: asked if any phy.con. occured, injuries,etc.): those who saw doc. photos more likely to say “yes”
- -Injuries: og 34%, doc. images 67%
