A
Mucoepidermoid carcinoma
-malignant glandular epithelial neoplasm.
-presents as a painless, fixed, slow growing swelling that often appears blue/red.
- always assume a pigment swelling on the palate is a malignant minor salivary gland tumour until proven otherwise.

What tumour has a Swiss cheese appearance?
A
Adenoid cystic carcinoma - which is done by microcysts filled with basement membrane material.
