What does the “Fourth” in our name refer to?
St Louis won the 1904 Worlds Fair partially because it was the 4th largest city in the US but there is some controversy as to whether that was true.
Also, we are the fourth incarnation of the Sisters in St Louis. The first was the Gateway City Sisters, then the Fleur de Lys Sisters, then a previous iteration of the Fourth City Sisters that dissolved after a tragedy in the house.

Sister EllaWhore von Tramp, the first Abbess of the Fourth City Sisters, who committed suicide resulting in the dissolution of the first iteration of the Fourth City Sisters.
