A quantity with both magnitude and direction

Velocity, Acceleration, displacement, force, weight
How is a vector quantity represented graphically
By a straight line and arrow head, the length of the arrow gives the Magnitude and the and the arrow gives the direction.
How do you find the resultant if two vectors act the same direction
You find the sum of their values
How do you find the resultant of the vectors act in opposite direction
You find the difference of the values
What is Parallelogram’s law
If two forces acting at that point I represented in size and direction by the sides of a parallelogram drawn from the point, the resultant is represented by the size and direction by the diagonal of the parallelogram drawn from the point.
