What is nominal data?
It consists of categories with no order,like colors or names.
What is ordinal data?
the order or rank of the data is meaningul. like rankings or levels.
What is inerval data?
it has ordered categories with equal inervals between values, but no true zero,like temp. In celsius. For example iq scores or calendar dates.
What is ratio data?
It has ordered categories, and a true zero.like:height,weight,income.
What is Cross-sectional data?
It is collected ar the same or approximately the same point in time.like:age distribution of a population at a specific year.
What is time series data?
When It is collected over several time periods.
What is experimental studies?
It involves identifying the main variable of interest, then controlling other variables to understand how they affect it.
