What is the supraglenoid tubercle?
A bony prominence located above the glenoid cavity of the scapula.
What is the scapular notch?
A notch in the superior border of the scapula that allows for the passage of nerves and blood vessels.
What is the coracoid process?
A hook-like structure on the scapula that serves as an attachment point for muscles and ligaments.
What is the glenoid cavity?
The shallow socket in the scapula that articulates with the head of the humerus.
What is the infraglenoid tubercle?
A bony prominence located below the glenoid cavity of the scapula.
What is the subscapular fossa?
The concave surface on the anterior side of the scapula that provides attachment for the subscapularis muscle.
What is the lateral border of the scapula?
The edge of the scapula that is closest to the humerus.
What is the superior angle of the scapula?
The angle formed by the junction of the medial and superior borders of the scapula.
What is the supraspinous fossa?
The shallow depression located above the spine of the scapula.
What is the superior border of the scapula?
The upper edge of the scapula that runs from the medial angle to the scapular notch.
What is the spine of the scapula?
A prominent ridge that runs across the posterior surface of the scapula.
What is the lateral angle of the scapula?
The area of the scapula where the glenoid cavity is located.
What is the medial border of the scapula?
The edge of the scapula that is closest to the vertebral column.
What is the inferior angle of the scapula?
The angle formed by the junction of the medial and lateral borders of the scapula.
What is the right scapula (anterior view)?
The view of the right scapula from the front.
What is the right scapula (posterior view)?
The view of the right scapula from the back.
What is the acromion?
