Scene 1
Eunice Negro woman are outside. Stanley hollers for Stella. Stella leaves. Blanche arrives at Elysian Fields and speaks to Eunice. Eunice let’s Blanche in. Blanche sees bottle of whisky and has a shot. Stella and Blanche talk about Stanley and his polish background. Blanche reveals loss of belle Reve. Stanley and Blanche meet, talk about her ex husbands who we find out is dead
Scene 2
Blanche is having a bath. Stella tells Stanley not to mention the baby. She says to be nice to Blanche. Stanley wants to see the papers for sale of the estate. He mentions the napoleonic code. He goes through blanches stuff getting angry. Stella leaves in a huff. Stanley tells Blanche he doesn’t look to compliment girls. Stanley goes for the box that the letters are is from one boy which Blanche says she will now burn. He says he’ll get a lawyer to look at the papers. Blanche then finds out about the baby
Scene 3
Poker night. Stanley means businesses. Mitch says his mothers sick. Blanche and Stella get home and ask if the guys can finish up. Stanley says no and smacks her thigh so she leaves into the bedroom. Blanche meets Mitch. Stanley tells the girls to be quite, and turns the radio off. Blanche and Mitch have a flirtatious convo. Then they place a paper lantern over the light. Blanche turns the radio on so Stanley throws it out the window. He then hits Stella for shouting at him. The men put Stanley in the shower. Stanley calls out for Stella who comes back. Blanche is horrified
Scene 4
Blanche and Stella are talking. She wants Stella to leave Stanley. She’s amazed that Stella slept with him after. Stella says about how nice he is. Blanche talks about Shep Huntleigh, she can no longer live with Stanley. This ends when Stanley comes home and the argument ends.
Scene 5
Blanche is writing a letter to Shep. They hear Steve and Eunice fighting upstairs. Stanley and Blanche talk about her past, at the flamingo. She denies it. Stella Stanley Eunice and Steve have gone to a bar. Blanche is waiting for date with Mitch. A young boy come selling papers and Blanche kisses him and he leaves. They then go on a date.
Scene 6
Blanche and Mitch come home at 2am. Blanche has been sad but covering it up. They get some drinks and candles. She wants to pretend they’re in a cafe. She says to sleep with her in French mocking his stupidity. She talks about her and Stanley and her ex. She says about how her ex died by suicide after discovering he was gay. Mitch asks if he could be her new boyf
Scene 7
Stanley comes home to Blanche bathing and Stella setting up a party. Stanley says shaw told him about blanches past. She was supposedly a prostitute. She lost her job for sleeping with a student. He says he will tell Mitch. Stella is distraught. Blanche exits the bathroom and is aware something is wrong.
Scene 8
End of Blanches birthday, Mitch never showed up. Stanley is eating with his hands. Stella complains and Stanley throws it all over the floor. Blanche goes to call Mitch. Stanley says things will be fine when Blanche leaves. He argues for his race as a Pole. He give Blanche a 1 way bus ticket to Laurel. Blanche gets all upset, and Stella goes into labour.
Scene 9
Mitch arrives to talk to Blanche, he’s drunk in his work clothes. She says she doesn’t know if there’s any good liquor. She asks what’s bothering him. He rips the paper lantern off the bulb and says he wants to be realistic here. Mitch is just angry that she lied to him. she talks about the soliders and the young boy in Laurel. Mitch says she’s dirty so he can’t marry her. he gets friskay so she shouts “FIRE” and he skeddadles
Scene 10
Blanche is drunk af. She gets all dressed up. Stanley enters all excited about the baby. She says she’s leaving for a cruise with shep. He puts on his silk PJs. She say she rejected Mitches apology which Stanley doesn’t believe. She threatens him with a bottle. He drags her to the bed and rapes her
Scene 11
Stanley is having a poker night with the boys. Blanche is mad and thinks Shep is coming to get her. she is going to a mental institution. The doctor arrives. Blanche thinks it’s Shep. She panics and is restrained. She finally leaves calmly with the doctor. Stella is very upset. Stanley Stella and the baby are together
