What is sound?
a vibration
Why can’t sound travel through a vacuum?
Because there are no particles to vibrate. Sound can travel through liquid, solid and gas.
What is pitch?
How high or low the sound is
What happens to pitch if the string is thinner on an instrument.
The thinner the string, the quicker it vibrates and so the higher the pitch.
