Q

Valsalva ratio

A

the maximum heart rate generated by the Valsalva maneuver divided by the lowest heart rate occurring within 30 s of the peak heart rate.

6
Q

Valsalva maneuver

A

breathing method that may slow your heart when it’s beating too fast. To do it, you breathe out strongly through your mouth while holding your nose tightly closed. This creates a forceful strain that can trigger your heart to react and go back into normal rhythm

Q

Wellness Index

A

is an index of the thirty biomarkers we measure in the screening. If a person has a
tumour, they can still have a great wellness index. In that case they have great physiological forces that
could help them combat the tumour together with their doctors.

16
Q

VO2

A

Volume of Oxygen

17
Q

Muscle mass

A

Strength exercise can counteract osteoporosis, increase metabolism, improve sensitivity to insulin, lower blood pressure, increase Cardiovascular fitness, endurance, and improve oxygen uptake. Muscles also increase the amount of growth hormone and testosterone.

18
Q

Fat mass

A

If someone eat too much and are not physical active, not burn the stored energy, they will store energy as fat
mass. Furthermore, the fat mass can increase with stress, an underactive thyroid, and insulin resistance.

19
Q

pH regulation index

A

If decreased – say that your client may be in the lower end when it comes to pH value, little
more acid. If it is increased it could be cause of dehydration, not alkaline.

20
Q

Blood oxygen Saturation

A

if decreased:
Lung problem: below 90 % that could be considered
Anemia – Iron, Folic acid, B12, cupper or vitamin C.
