A valid test does what? A reliable test does what? What can be concluded from this?

A

Valid: accurately discern between those that do and don’t have the dx, ability to tell the truth

Reliability: ability of a test to give the same result on repeated uses, consistent

A valid test is always reliable, but a reliable test isn’t always valid.
