dominant traits
A
in general, if the progeny between purebred organisms looked only like one parent, the expressed trait is dominant. (ex: AA/Aa - dominant trait is A)
2
Q
the principle of uniformity
A
all progeny of a cross where parents only differ by one trait will appear identical (ie AA x Aa)
3
Q
recessive traits
A
only expressed when the organism has two recessive alleles as they are masked by dominant traits
