A

Pre deployment protocols?

A

6 weeks mandatory training
Must take the RAFFT as close to deployment date as possible. If have light blue then no need to retest.
Final 10-14 days before deployment raise body temp minimum of 60 mins each day

HAT programme?

A

First day of arrival is 24 hours total rest
Programme progresses from t shirt/shorts
to t-shirt, body armour and PCS
to t shirt, PCS, body armour and webbing.

Activity is progressive.

Aim of the HAT ?

A

to increase individuals heart rate over 65% MHR for 40 mins

Then increase to 60 mins in later stages

In last 10-14 days, body core temp should be elevated for a minimum of 60 mins a day. Must allow 2 full days rest per week.
