1 Serum cholesterol is determined after enzymatic hydrolysis and oxidation
Cholesterol ester + Water -> Cholesterol + Fatty Acid

3 The indicator quinoneimine is formed from hydrogen peroxide and 4-aminoantipyrine in the presence of phenol and peroxidase
