When may information be disclosed to a person who has close contact with a patient who has a serious communicable disease?

The person is at risk of infection that is likely to result in serious harm

Where a third party has given consent
When the victim is asleep or unconscious

A

Retain clothing from the incident
Establish points of contact and order of contact
Swab for saliva, DNA, semen, blood externally
Assailant wearing condom? - ejaculation and if so where
Comb head hair and pubic hair
Fingernail swabs +/- fingernail clippings
Document injuries
Samples for toxicology

A

Examine skin around genitalia and anus for injuries, document and photograph
Sexual swabs prior to internal examination
Colposcopy/speculum/colonoscopy examination and videography/imaging
Document and record injuries
